Agreement on reconstruction of 70 km of state roads in the zone of recently opened east leg of Corridor 10 signed – Works worth EUR 19.99 million

A total of 70 kilometers of state road sections in the zone of the recently opened east leg of Corridor 10 will soon be reconstructed, and the job has been awarded to JV Trace Group Hold PLC and Trace Srbija a.d. Nis, with which the PE Corridors of Serbia has signed agreements. The works, which are worth EUR 19.99 million, will be financed from the credit of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the state budget of Serbia.

– The rehabilitation of said sections will improve the existing road network, which connects the highway, local and regional centers, and raise the overall level of road traffic safety. Also, it will create conditions for an accelerated economic growth and development of tourism, which is already strongly supported by the natural characteristics and the rich cultural and historical heritage (Special Nature Reserve Jerma, Nature Park Stara Planina and monasteries Sukovo, Poganovo and Sveti Ilija) – the PE Corridors of Serbia announced.

The completion deadline period is 18 months.
