TMD Group lays down foundation stone for new factory in Gradacac – Production of Mitsubishi parts, jobs for 100 workers

One of the largest domestic companies, TMD Group, laid down the foundation stone for a new car part factory in Gradacac on Friday, February 21.

The chairman of TMD Group, Adem Hanic, stated that the future facility would produce components for the new electrical car manufactured by Japan's Mitsubishi.

– The production will start at full capacity in June 2021 and we expect the facility to employ around 100 new workers – Hanic clarified.

TMD specializes in the production of inner and outer rings for car bearings. It works for the world's largest companies in the car component sector, including Benteler, Schaeffler, SKF and NTN/SNR.

TMD Group is one of the biggest exporters from the Tuzla Canton.
