Agromarket new owner of Semenarna Ljubljana

The company Agromarket, owned by Serbian businessman Dusan Mojsilovic, is the new owner of Semenarna Ljubljana, the Delo daily reports.

The daily writes that Dezelna Banka Slovenije (DBS), which has been looking for a strategic partner for several months now as the sole owner of Semenarna, has chosen Agromarket as the new owner.

Semenarna has announced that it is expanding the range of the seed materials under its brand. It will also refresh its Bonami animal feed products and offer new substrates.

The company increased its retail sales and exports last year, SeeBiz reports.

Members of Agromarket Group include PIK Juzni Banat, which grows apples and peaches, fertilizer producer Fertiko, agricultural company Zajecar and seed producer Agroseme.

Dusan Mojsilovic is expected to buy out the receivables from the Bank Assets Management Company (BAMC) and stakes from DBS.
