The prime minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, stated that the construction of the first 1,000 thousand apartments for members of the security forces in Belgrade should begin no later than April. As eKapija already wrote, the plan is for the construction of the first 300 apartments, of a total of 1,000, to start in the Lakat Krivina location in Zemun near Galenika.

Replying to the questions of MPs at the National Assembly of Serbia, Brnabic emphasized that the construction of apartments had begun in all the planned local self-governments, except in Belgrade, due to the extension of the plan.

The reason, she explained, is that a slightly larger number of apartments is planned in the first phase, as well as the construction of a school and a kindergarten, which is why the urban plan needed to be changed.

The prime minister pointed out that the first families would move in the apartments built in Vranje in early April, it is said on the government's website.
