New Banjaluka brand City Gecko soon on streets and in parks – Telemax develops own “smart bench” product

The Banjaluka-based company Telemax is bringing a unique product which combines urban planning and multifunctionality of the digital age. These are “smart benches”, which are already being sold in B&H and the EU, and as the company says for eKapija, they also plan to expand to Africa and the Middle East.

– This is an original product of Telemax, which is protected as such at the Institute for Intellectual Property of B&H. The product features a unique modular design. The development team worked for a year to produce several prototypes. This is a new product, so a new Banjaluka brand, City Gecko, was created for the purposes of advertising and communication. The Solar module has been produced and tested, whereas the Wood and Wheel modules are in the testing phases – Telemax emphasizes.

They add that benches are assembled at their facilities, where the development team is in charge of the design. Also, one module of these Solar Supreme smart benches has been installed at the Telemax Business Center.

– The components come from our standard, long-term suppliers, as Telemax has been active in engineering of TC and electrical installations for eighteen years now. The benches provide electrical energy for charging devices which we use every day – phones, tablets and other similar devices, through USB connections and contactless chargers, as well as WiFi access and possibility of advertising through an installed LCD – Telemax explains.

They also say that the first quantities have already been sold.

As they say, the price of “smart benches” depends on the installed equipment, quantities and the special requests made by the clients. Considering that the installed equipment is “anti-vandal” and that its mechanical characteristics make it suitable for outdoor use, the benches are very resilient and can be used for years.

– As Telemax is one of those companies that accept and implement technical innovations, we have decided to offer our own products, in line with the trends of using solar energy. We are very ambitious, as we are the only producer and supplier in B&H, offering a new, different modular approach, compared to other regional producers. Our premium products feature a unique design compared to others – Telemax points out.

They say that several solutions that should expand the City Gecko offer are currently being developed.
