Ninth round of allotment of funds to investors - 6.2m EUR for 2,252 newly employed people
The Ministry of Economy of Serbia signed the contracts today (December 1st, 2009) with 18 companies that will create 2,252 new jobs in Serbia on allotment of 6.2m EUR for investment promotion.
Within the scope of the ninth cycle of the investment promotion programme, which is carried out by the Investment and Export Promotion Agency of Serbia (SIEPA), based on the Regulation governing conditions and methods for attracting direct investments, total of 26 applications have been submitted, 18 of which have been approved, 5 of which are from abroad. Realization of these contracts will enable realization of 46,083,386 EUR worth of investments in 13 municipalities in Serbia, as well as in creation of 2,252 new jobs. Total of 6,219,500 EUR worth of stimulus funds from the budget have been set aside for that purpose.
The contracts are signed with companies "Danny Style" , "Proleter", "Grupo Fiorentino", "Alfa Properties", "K&M", "Lučić Prigrevica", "Grah Automotive", "Insert", "Wizard", "Ivković", "LTS", "Primar Tehno", "Almag", "Gruner Serbian", "Hintech", RTRK, "List Solutions", "Sprinktek", and they will be realized in the municipalities of Vranje, Ivanjica, Vlasotince, Belgrade, Apatin, Novi Sad, Batočina, Ruma, Vršac, Mali Iđoš, Bački Petrovac, Kladovo and Šabac.
