Association of Sandžak-based textile companies to open branch office in Russia

The CEO of the Sandžak Economic Development Agency (SEDA), Samir Kačapor, said that the textile manufacturers from Sandžak would open branch office in Russia in 2010 in order to enter that big market.

Five largest jeans production companies in Novi Pazar already presented their products in Moscow in September and signed significant export arrangements.

- Based on the experience we gained at the International Fashion Fair in Moscow, we have decided to work with local companies and apply for the funds from international organizations to open a branch office in Moscow, because it is the only way for our companies to enter that market - said Kačapor.

- The situation in the market in our country is really difficult, and I think it would be good for large companies to appear in foreign markets, the most interesting of which is the market of Russia - said Kačapor who expects that, after good presentation, large companies will be followed by mid-sized and small enterprises on their way to the market of Russia.
