"Centroproizvod" to invest 8m EUR in new factory
- Company "Centroproizvod", the manufacturer of food products, plans to invest 8m EUR in 2010 in the new factory within the production unit in Surčin - people from that company announced.
During the first three quarters of this year, the company increased the sales by 11% on annual basis, registered 30% higher profitability rate, invested 1.6m EUR in production and employed 60 workers.
The company's CEO, Nemanja Popov, said at the press conference that the company had entered the market of Slovenia through company "Mercator" and the market of Bulgaria through "Delta's" market chain "Piccadilly" in 2009.
- The products of "Centroproizvod" have also reached the market of Croatia thanks to private trademarks - Popov added.
Application of new technical and technological achievements, modern production units and strict control of production have contributed to improvement of the quality of products, and "Centroproizvod" won two new quality certificates this year - ISO 22000:2005 and ISO 14001:2004.
The assortment of "Centroproizvod" comprises over 240 products that are produced in Surčin-based unit "Cipiripi", Čukarica-based "Aroma" and unit "Bilje" in Bavanište.
