Two primary schools and sports center in Žitorađa prior to September 2010
Elaboration of the project documentation for construction of a sports center worth about 34m RSD in the municipality of Žitorađa is in progress, for the purpose of which about 830,000 RSD have been set aside from the municipal budget.
- The funds for the construction should be provided from the National Investment Plan for year 2010. Žitorađa has applied for the grant of 50m RSD and, in addition to the sports center, that money should also be invested in two primary schools - Bojan Miličev, the Economic Development Coordinator and the Budget Chief of Žitorađa, told "eKapija".
According to his words, future sports center will occupy the surface of 2.5 ha and it will comprise an outdoor Olympic swimming pool, a small swimming pool for children, a field for combined sports (mini football, basketball, volleyball), a tennis court and a field for beach volleyball.
- There will also be a big parking lot and adequate access roads. The future complex will be situated next to the existing hall and the primary school. If everything goes as planned, the sports center may be finished at the beginning of September 2010.
The municipality will get 14.8m RSD from NIP for the two new schools in Žitorađa.
- One of the schools will be built in settlement Jasenica, while the other will be situated in settlement Gornje Crnatovo. The first one will occupy the surface of 152 square meters, while the other will be built at 120 square meters. These schools will be for the pupils of the fourth grade and younger, and we plan to have them finished in June 2010. The project documentation for the schools and the sports center has been elaborated by company "Plan" from Prokuplje.
