Historical maximum of foreign currency deposits in Erste Bank

The calculations that were done at the end of the last week showed that the foreign currency deposits in Novi Sad-based Erste Bank had reached their historical maximum.

The foreign currency deposits of the population reached the level of 138.9m EUR at the end of the last week, while the total deposits of the population, expressed in euros, amounted to 157.5m EUR.

- That means that Erste Bank's retail sector has never been entrusted with more money to save than at this moment. I believe that this success is, first of all, the proof of high level of mutual trust between the bank and its clients. We will keep working on improving that relation - said Jasna Terzić, a member of the Executive Board of Erste Bank in Novi Sad.
