Zijin marks 2020 as year of construction – Novo Cerovo mine to reopen and reconstruction in Majdanpek to be completed

The CEO of Serbia Zijin Bor Copper, Long Yi, said that the year 2020 would be a year of construction for that company.

– We will complete the technical reconstruction and expansion of the mine in Majdanpek. We will initiate the technical reconstruction and expansion of Veliki Krivelj and Jama, the technical reconstruction and expansion of Topionica and reopen the Novo Cerovo mine – Long Yi said, as announced on the company's website Kolektiv.

According to him, in 2020, the company will aim to upgrade the production and operations, further reduce the costs and increase the productivity.

– At the same time, we will continue improving the safety of the production and accelerate the environmental protection project. The year 2020 will be a year of construction for the company – it is said in the New Year's greeting.
