JUBMES Banka should be renamed as ALTA Banka, as proposed by the Managing Board to the bank's GM, scheduled for January 30, it is said in the document published today by the Belgrade Stock Exchange.

The decision on the adoption of amendments to the founding contract adopted by the bank's Managing Board specifies that the bank will change its name once the National Bank of Serbia gives its approval and the new operating name is registered at the Business Registers Agency.

According to the Central Securities Depository, more than two thirds of JUBMES Banka's shares are held by legal entities, 22.4% of the shares are on summary accounts, whereas natural persons own a total of 10.3% shares.

The largest shareholder of JUBMES Banka is Alta Pay Group from Belgrade with 28.5% of the shares, followed by the former Yugoslav state (SFRY) with 5.3% and Telegroup with 4.99% of the shares.

In early May 2019, Alta Pay Group bought the state package of 28.5% of the shares of JUBMES Banka for RSD 592.5 million.
