Zoran Kesic to leave TV O2

The management of the Belgrade-based TV station O2 and the team of the “24 minuta sa Zoranom Kesicem” (“24 Minutes with Zoran Kesic”) TV show have announced that, following a long bout of negotiations, they have not extended the cooperation agreement to 2020.

– We had an excellent long-term cooperation with author Zoran Kesic and his entire team, which entailed total freedom in creating the show. Despite the good will and our desire to have the cooperation continue and the negotiations held, we honor the author and the team’s decision to open a new chapter in their work – the heads of TV O2 said, according to a joint press release.

Kesic said that his team “will never forget where they started creating history in the form of “24 minuta”.

– I thank TV O2 (formerly B92) for providing the basic element on which our show rests: freedom. We are opening a new chapter – Kesic announced.

The New Year’s special, also the final edition of this show on TV O2, is scheduled for December 31, at 9.30 pm.
