Loznica-based confectionery factory "Nelly" expands product portfolio - rum bars and milk chocolates

Loznica-based Factory of confectionery products "Nelly" announced on Saturday (November 14, 2009) that it planned to expand its product portfolio.

People from that factory said that the production of rum bars had already started and that the production of strawberry, yogurt and hazelnut-filled milk chocolates should start by the end of the month.

"Nelly" produces 100 tons of various confectioneries every month, 40% of which are exported to European market.

The assortment of products includes five kinds of pralines, three kinds of chocolate boxes, chocolate banana, cooking chocolate, as well as various jelly and lokum products.

In addition to the laboratory for controlling the quality of raw materials and final products, company "Nelly" also has its design studio and printing firm, so that it designs and produces the packaging for its products.

The factory was put in operation in September 2007, and it currently has 87 workers.

It won eight gold medals and cups for the quality of confectionery products at this year's 76th international agriculture fair that was organized in Novi Sad between May 9 and 16.
