Swedish Rimaster rents business space in Paracin – Jobs for 1,000 people at new facility

The Municipality of Paracin and the Swedish company Rimaster signed an agreement on the renting of business space for seven years in Industrial Zone Zmic in Paracin, with 3,000 m2, on December 16.

At the new building of the Cultural Center, the agreement was signed by the president of the Municipality of Paracin, Sasa Paunovic, and a director at Rimaster, Tomas Stalnert. The renting period starts on May 15, 2020, according to the agreement.

The Swedish producer of electrical system, wiring systems for special vehicles and heavy building machines, intends to employ 1,000 workers at the rented business space in Paracin.

The facility has 3,000 m2 and is located in Industrial Zone Zmic, built by the municipality. Rimaster is the only company to respond to the municipality's ad for the lease of the facility for seven years, at the market price.

The construction of the facility will cost more than RSD 250,000,000. It will be built by the company Grading, and should be completed in May 2020.

Rimaster started producing in Paracin last year, in a rented space, with 40 workers, whereas now there are around a hundred. The plan is for 1,000 workers to be employed at the new facility in the future, the municipality says.
