Healthy life advice is no longer something we hear exclusively from medical doctors, but a generally accepted trend. A survey of consumer trends recently carried out by Tetra Pak on a global level has shown that 88% of consumers are ready to pay more for healthier food products, while at the same time 49% of consumers want to make their lives simpler. In line with this, the food prepared and consumed on the move needs to meet the modern trends of a healthy lifestyle. Smaller and lighter packaging is therefore becoming increasingly popular among those who want to take their drink to a gym or a yoga class or take a refreshment during a long business meeting.

As a global leader in the production of solutions for the processing and the packaging of food, Tetra Pak carefully follows and analyzes the most current consumer trends and regularly adjusts its operations in order to help its customers adapt to a changing environment. The company Imlek, a long-term partner of Tetra Pak, has recognized these trends in the market of Serbia and has recently offered some of its products – Moja kravica, Balans+, Jogood and Balans+ Imuno – in a Tetra Top packaging, characterized by a large variety of packaging of various sizes and ways of opening. Also, some Imlek products are now available in the most recent type of packaging from this portfolio – Tetra Top MiniV Nallo: https://www.tetrapak.com/rs/tetra-top-mini, the smallest package of this range, ideal for on-the-go consumption.

– We have developed the Tetra Top packaging portfolio in order to meet the growing demand of consumers for fresh products, additional functionality, consumption on the move and an increased care of the environment, all of which makes these products the right choice for all modern producers of food and dairy products. What we're especially glad about is the fact that Imlek was the first in Serbia to launch our latest and smallest packaging in this portfolio – Tetra Top MiniV Nallo. To us, this proves that our close cooperation of more than 55 years is mutually beneficial and that our packaging is the right answer to all the needs of our customers, but also end-users – pointed out Catalina Siriteanu, marketing director at Tetra Pak.

"Top" consumer experience

The Tetra Top MiniV Nallo packaging is designed to meet the needs of modern consumers, but also the demands of environmental protection. It is adapted to everyone who wants to consume their products at home or on the move – it opens and closes easily, and its proportions make it easy to carry. The resilience and reliability of this packaging make it easy to put into a backpack or a bag, so that you can enjoy the products both close to home and on adventures far away from it. At the same time, its modern design and attractive appearance enables producers to have their products stand out on shelves, as it provides an endless range of design possibilities.

Tetra Top MiniV Nallo is meant primarily for products kept at low temperatures, such as milk or liquid yogurts, as the packaging provides efficient protection from light and long-time freshness. Just as all other types of packaging from the Tetra Top portfolio, this packaging can be used for water, juices and other food products, such as oils, vegetables, soups, sauces or pet food.

Environmentally friendly

When it comes to the environment, Tetra Top MiniV Nallo, just like all the other Tetra Pak packaging, is made predominantly from natural materials from renewable sources and is fully recyclable. All the wood used in a Tetra Pak packaging comes from forests certified as compliant with the principles of sustainable forestry, which means that the forests are renewed in line with a plan.

– At Tetra Pak, we are fully dedicated to environmental protection and establishing a circular economy. We realize that seeing problems in isolation, such as limiter resources or climate change, is no longer enough, so our goal is to minimize the negative impact the industry has on our environment on the level of the entire value chain. In that context, we aim to use primarily natural ingredients in the process of the production of our packaging, as well as to develop products and solutions which minimize the environmental impact. Through the "Planet Positive" initiative, we are trying to change the way of thinking within our company, while also trying to influence the mentality of our partners and the whole industry in order to look into the ways of reducing the emission of carbon-dioxide and related gases, while also reducing the amount of food that goes to waste and minimizing the impact on natural resources such as water or land – Siriteanu adds.
