New logistics center of California Sped – Modern facility in Dobanovci for faster flow of goods and more efficient business operations

Transporting and forwarding company California Sped has completed the construction of a new logistics center in Dobanovci worth EUR 4 million.

A year ago, on a parcel of 1.5 ha, the company began building a facility of 5,500 m2, which consists of an office building and storage space (public customs and national warehouse) and provides floor and rack storage of goods, of a capacity of over 10,000 pallet spaces.

California Sped says that the facility is built in line with the highest standards of storage and transport of goods and that the pallet racks and the storage mechanization, along with the computer-run processes, enable a quick handling of goods.

The new logistics center, the company points out, enables a quicker flow of goods, the handling of a larger number of trucks simultaneously, larger storage capacities, full logistics services adapted to clients' needs (transport, forwarding, storage, distribution to end-users), a quicker implementation of simplified customs procedures and optimization of the processes of all participants in the chain, whereas the expanded capacities and the infrastructure of the new logistics center enable the further growth of the company and the upgrade of its operations.
