Gosa sold to Zelvoz 026 for EUR 1 million – New owner plans to initiate production and employ 300 workers

Fabrika Sinskih Vozila Gosa in bankruptcy has been sold to Zelvoz 026 from Smederevo for a million euros, the bankruptcy supervisor of this rail vehicle factory, Aca Mitic, confirmed for Novosti today.

The Board of Creditors today reached the unanimous decision for Gosa to be sold to the Smederevo-based company, which had made the best bid.

In addition to Zelvoz 026, a bid worth EUR 500,000 had been made by MIN Lokomotiva from Nis.

The estimated value of Gosa exceeds RSD 514 million, and as the offer is lower than 50% of the estimated value, the Board of Creditors needed to approve the sale.

Zelvoz 026 has announced that it will initiate the production at Gosa and employ 300 workers.

Let us remind that Zelvoz 026 is a subsidiary of Victory Solutions from Belgrade, which bought the Smederevo-based Zelvoz. As confirmed for Politika by the bankruptcy supervisor earlier, a resident of Smederevo, Boban Coka Rajic, is behind the purchase of Gosa. He recently became known as the purchaser of Vecernje Novosti and he bid personally for the factory in Smederevska Palanka.
