"Railways of Republic of Srpska" to purchase 600 freight cars from Serbia, Poland and Slovakia

"Railways of Republic of Srpska" plans to buy 600 new freight cars from Serbia, Poland, and Slovakia.

Petko Stanojević, the Director General of that company, said that the negotiations were in progress and that the contracts on purchase of four compositions of talgo trains had already been signed.

- Once the overhaul of the rails is completed and freight and passenger cars are bought, one important process will be finished. Also, realization of the project for technical changes in the locomotives in use, which started in Czech Republic, will be finished in local workshops - Stanojević pointed out.
