Grozdjebal to take place from September 19-22, 2019, in Vrsac – Free sausages and grapes from a plane

The 62th Grozdjebal event will be held in Vrsac from September 19-22, 2019. The organizers of this traditional tourist and business event, the City of Vrsac and the Tourism Organization of Vrsac, have once again prepared an interesting program in celebration of grapes and wine.

On the first day, free wine and sausages will be offered, and the event will be accompanied by folk music ensemble performances and a beauty contest.

Throughout the festival, the visitors traditionally grill sausages on large gas grills set up in the city center.

The official opening will take place on the evening of September 20, with fireworks, and an exhibit called “Grapes, Fruit and Wine” will take place in front of the Town Hall earlier that day.

Over the weekend, the visitors will be able to attend various events, from the traditional throwing of grapes out of an airplane, through a carnival, various cultural and art events, to concerts and events for children, including a masquerade and a dance festival.

Grozdjebal will also feature an interesting side program, such as education courses about viticulture and winemaking, a bicycle race and free-climbing on artificial rocks.
