Rare coin sold for USD 1.32 billion

Rare 10-cent coin was sold recently at the Chicago coin auction for USD 1,32 billion, Anadolu Agency reports.

American media have reported that the 10-cent piece was the the 1894-S Barber Dime, one of only 24 that were ever made. Only nine of the coins are confirmed to still exist.

The dime from this collection was made in 1894. Another one was sold back in 2016 for almost USD 2 million.
