Meat products from "Topola" on their way to EU - expected monthly incomes of 150,000 EUR
Meat-packing industry "Topola" from Bačka Topola will start exporting pork meat products to the market of European Union. The first shipment of products that meet the criteria for export to the EU countries will be sent to France, and it will include thermally-processed products, ready-made dishes, pastas, etc. Expected monthly incomes from the sales amount to 150,000 EUR.
People in "Topola" point out that they will start exporting about 600,000 EUR worth of meat products to Hungary next week, and, once the problems of pig plague and pig vaccination in Serbia are resolved, people in that slaughterhouse expect to obtain permit for export of long-lasting products whose price and quality make them competitive in that market.
"Topola" also plans to start selling its products, which earned the company GOST-R certificate, in Russian market. That certificate was issued for 108 meat products, and the contract with Russian partner on export of meat products to that country is expected to be signed soon.
