Chinese investor Eurofiber to open third factory for sock manufacturing in Cuprija

Chinese investor Eurofiber has confirmed that it would open a new factory for sock manufacturing, and that the project realization is expected in October, said the president of the municipality of Cuprija, Ninoslav Eric.

The Chinese company for fiber processing, Eurofiber, opened its first factory in Cuprija in 2016 and its second one two years later.

– Turkish company Feka Automotiv obtained the building permit and started carrying out some preparatory work in our industrial zone, Eric said.

Total budget revenue of the Cuprija municipality in the first six months of the current year amounts to RSD 414,795,559 and according to Ninoslav Eric represents the biggest revenue Cuprija has ever had in the first six month of any year till now.

– The increase in budget revenue of Cuprija municipality for the first sic months happened after income and property taxes raised our profits. It also shows increase in incomes in our municipality, a result of foreign direct investments which are still coming in and we still expect more, Eric said.
