Apple offers USD 1 million to hack iPhone

Apple is offering up to pay a USD 1 million reward to any computer safety expert who succeeds in hacking an iPhone.

At the annual computer safety conference in Las Vegas Apple has invited experts from all over the world to try and find safety “gaps” in their smartphone devices, Tanjug news agency reports.

The 1 million dollar reward will only be paid in case of a successful attempt of hacking the iPhone from a distance, without a direct contact between the user and the device.

Previously, the company has offered USD 200,000 for this undertaking.
