Kraljevo to invest in children’s mountain – Tendering procedure for construction of ski-lift on Goc opens

In the past years, skiing on the famous children’s mountain, Goc, has not been possible. The old ski-lift system was disassembled and the parts were sold in order to pay the workers their late salaries.

To the end of improving the offer, a new children’s hotel opened in late 2018, and the City of Kraljevo opened the tendering procedure for the construction of skiing structures, that is, of the ski-lift structure, on Goc.

As stated in the documentation, the subject of the public procurement procedure is the designing and the execution of works on the construction of the ski-lift and the adjacent part of the ski track, as well as the delivery and assembly of the necessary equipment for the Dobre Vode location, under a turnkey system.

The author of the design is the Belgrade-based company Ornament Investinzenjering, and the works and the equipment, jointly financed by the City of Kraljevo and the Ministry of Sports and Tourism, is around RSD 29 million.

As the company told our portal, the rough deadline for the completion of the works is December 15, 2019, meaning that everything will be ready for skiing in the upcoming season.

The ski-lift will have the right-hand riding direction. The altitudes of the starting and the ending points are 904 m and 945 m respectively.

The area in front of the ski lift should be spacious. The starting point should feature a control booth of around 10 m2, whereas the exit area should feature one of around 4 m2, and the two booths should be connected by phone.

Fences made of wood and other materials should indicate the direction of movement at the starting area.

Application deadline is August 26, at noon, whereas the bids are to be opened on the same date at 1 pm.
