Agro Belgrade 2020 is expected to become the leading fair-conference event in the Western Balkans and Southeastern Europe, one which will gather the most important representatives from the said fields, as well as most of the agricultural cooperatives from Serbia.
The fair part is reserved for over 1,000 exhibitors, including the largest companies in the world, whereas the accompanying conference programs and round tables will deal with current challenges, such as the implementation of modern technological solutions in agriculture, organic production, EU agricultural policy and the impact of climate change on food production.
The fair aims to attract the widest range of interested parties and act as a service to those who want to expand their business contacts and keep in touch with modern trends in the agrarian sector.
The exhibitors at the fair will be divided into groups by the goods they produce, including seed material, plant protection and feeding, fertilizers, farming mechanization, fruit and vegetables, plantations, vineyards, processed fruit and vegetables and other products. There will also be groups for vendors, wholesale markets, green markets, banks and insurance companies, transporters and forwarders, quality controllers, certifiers and standardizers, thematic NGOs and funds, science institutes, faculties and high schools, as well as consultants.
The fair will also feature companies which brand and advertise agricultural products, associations, clusters, cooperatives, chambers, embassies’ commerce departments, associations of foreign chambers, representatives of foreign and regional fairs in the fields of fruit, vine and vegetable growing, producers and distributors of drying, cooling and other systems for storing and preserving products, producers and distributors of irrigation and drainage systems, producers and distributors of hail and sun protection systems, designers and builders of artificial lakes, producers and distributors of plastic and glass greenhouses, halls and storage facilities, producers and distributors of machines for the processing and packing of agricultural products, producers and distributors of work clothes and footwear, producers and distributors of garden and farm programs, producers of hand tools, producers and distributors of software, drones and other supervision technologies, producers and distributors of light commercial vehicles and others.
Finally, the fair will also feature booths of local self-governments, municipalities, wineries, producers and distributors of tobacco and tobacco-replacement products, telecommunication companies, relevant media, TV shows and production houses, producers and traders of alcoholic drinks made from fruit and grapes, as well as producers and distributors of equipment and components for maintaining agricultural mechanization, spare parts and services.
