Nikola Pasic Square to be reconstructed in 2020

All the large projects of the construction and reconstruction in Belgrade, such as the Republic Square, are slowly being completed, according to the head urban planner of Belgrade, Marko Stojcic, who said this on TV Studio B.

He said that the square demanded a large and clear space. More about what the Republic Square will look like after the reconstruction can be found in a separate article.

– The Nikola Pasic Square will be reconstructed in a similar way. The works are planned to start and finish in 2020. The Bezistan area will be fully reconstructed as a footpath – he said, as reported by Beoinfo.

Talking about meeting the deadlines, Stojcic emphasized that the deadline for the Republic Square, Toplicin Venac Street and Karadjordjeva Street was still September 1.

He also noted that the traffic at the Republic Square would be reinstated.
