The Ministry of Health has opened an international public call for the submission of bids for the modernization, reconstruction and extension of four tertiary hospitals in Serbia.

As said, the Ministry of Health is the recipient of a loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB), and the call pertains to an agreement on the construction and rehabilitation of the Clinical Center of Vojvodina.

The agreement with the future contractor will entail the reconstruction and extension of the current hospital building with a total gross area of 33,275.84 m2, an extension of the heated corridor and the construction of new technical blocks T1 and T2, the parking lot and the exterior.

The agreement is expected to be realized from January 6, 2020, to May 6, 2023.

The Ministry of Health has also proscribed detailed criteria for bidders, among which is the requirement for the total income in the past three years not to be lower than EUR 70 million.

All companies are invited to take part in the public procurement procedure, and eligible bidders may get additional information and view the documentation at the Ministry of Health between 10 am and 3 pm in Pasterova Street in Belgrade.

The documentation can be bought out by applying at the address of the Ministry of Health and upon the payment of a non-refundable compensation of EUR 500.

Each bid needs to be accompanied by a guarantee of EUR 1 million, which needs to meet all the requirements listed in the documentation.

All bids must be sent in closed envelopes and marked “Bid for construction and rehabilitation of the Clinical Center of Vojvodina” no later than September 13, 2019, at 11 am, at the address of the Ministry of Health.
