New ad for BIP’s renter to be placed on Monday

The ad for the collection of written bids for the business-technical cooperation pertaining to the renting of the production capacities of BIP will be placed on Monday, July 8, announced the Bankruptcy Supervision Agency.

The procedure will be carried out for the purpose of protecting the interests of creditors, preserving the bankruptcy estate, maintaining the technological processes of production and distribution and preserving the movable and immovable property of BIP, the agency announces.

They add that authorization has been obtained from the competent organs to maintain the continuity of the production and to carry out the procedure of finding a new producer in the system of business-technical cooperation.

The Bankruptcy Supervision Agency says that the cooperation would be carried out with the help of a certain number of former BIP workers to be hired and at the minimum monthly level of production.

The production workers had agreements with the producer M-6 EDEN SRB, and those agreements have now been terminated by the employer due to the one-sided termination of the agreement on the business-technical cooperation, the agency says.

The former renter informed the bankruptcy supervisor of the termination of the agreement on the business-technical cooperation by memo on June 20, and the date of the termination of the agreement is July 1.

The bankruptcy proceedings were initiated in BIP in January 2016, and the company, whose majority owner is the state, was declared bankrupt in March 2016.
