Vojvoda Vuk Park to get a new look – Reconstruction of Toplicin Venac Street until September 1

The beginning of the reconstruction of Vojvoda Vuk Park in Belgrade marks the start of the final phase of the reconstruction of the Toplicin Venac Street, which will last until September 1, said Deputy Mayor Goran Vesic.

– This is one of the oldest parks in Belgrade, but it is underdeveloped. It doesn’t have enough greenery and can certainly be improved – Vesic told the press and added that 19 new trees would be planted as part of the reconstruction.

He said that the reconstruction of Toplicin Venac Street was going as planned and added that Vuka Karadzica Street would be turned into a pedestrian zone in order to provide a connection with Kosancicev Venac Street, whereas, Cubrina Street would remain a street with slowed down traffic.
