Railway cars refurbished by "Želvoz" on test drive - overhaul of trams in the pipeline

The passenger cars refurbished in factory of railway cars "Želvoz" were on test drive yesterday (August 31, 2009).

Eight passenger cars out of total of 55 such cars and 145 freight cars, which should be repaired by "Želvoz" according to the contract with "Serbian Railways", were tested yesterday.

After the refurbishment of railway cars is done, "Želvoz" will start repairing trams, the first of which will be refurbished according to the ideas of designers and modellers of that factory. The agreement on this has been reached between Slobodan Ristić and Radoslav Nikolić, CEOs of "Želvoz" and City Transportation Company "Beograd" respectively.
