Full production of "Iskon" oil commenced in factory "Victoria oil" in Šid

Starting today (August 31, 2009), company "Victoria oil" from Šid is working at full steam. That means that 14,400 liters of oil will be produced in that factory every hour, while annual production will be larger than the needs of the local market. Although the trial production commenced last week, traders have already expressed exceptional interest in the oil whose factory price is about 70 RSD per liter.

With VAT, transportation costs, and average margin, the retail price of "Iskon" oil should not exceed 85 RSD. Prior to Friday, about 420,000 liters of this oil had been delivered to the stores of Subotica's "Trgopromet", markets in Kraljevo, Čačak, Šabac, Šid, Bačka Palanka, Kragujevac, as well as to "Univerexport" hypermarkets in Novi Sad - Natalija Kurjak, the Marketing Director in "Victoria Group", told "Danas". She also pointed out that, starting last Friday, the citizens of Belgrade can buy "Iskon" oil at the promotive price of 79.9 RSD per liter in all facilities of "Familija market", while the negotiations with "Delta Maxi" were still in progress.

Ms. Kurjak said that the demand for cheaper edible oil was growing, as well as that all delivered quantities of that oil were sold out in no time, which should not be surprising since its price was about 40 RSD lower than the prices of other edible oils in the market. Company "Victoria oil" also plans to start exporting this oil to the surrounding countries.
