"Interna" company opened new plum factory in Osecina - investment worth EUR 2 million
Company "Interna" opened on Friday (August, 28th, 2009) factory in Osečina for processing of plums, in which has invested EUR 2 million.
Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Mladjan Dinkic said at the opening of the factory that Serbia annually earns 10 million EUR from plum export, which is 10% of total exports of fruits.
As stated at the opening of the factory, half the money for construction of facilities was provided by the Russian partner - the company "Saks" from Moscow.
The remaining EUR 1 million was secured from the loan from the Fund for the Development Assistance Agency of Serbia Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA), which provided 120.000 EUR and from the owner of "Interna" company's funds, Ratko Beganovic.
The new factory, "Interna" in Osečina will open 70 new working positions.
In 2008, Serbia exported 1.500 tons of dried plums, which is together with exported plums from the territory of Valjevo municipality, the half of total exports of dried plums from Serbia.
