From abandoned pools to Eco Park – Income from Lost & Found Festival near Bor to be invested in development of tourism

After a successful realization of three festivals, the Wave organization is preparing the fourth edition of the Lost & Found festival, which will be held between July 19 and 21 at the abandoned pools in Brestovacka Banja near Bor.

The Wave organization plans to use the income from the festival to turn the abandoned pools into a botanical garden called Eco Park, which would be operational throughout the year.

– The essence of the idea behind the project is to promote ecology, renewable energy and tourism offer of Eastern Serbia, whereby Eco Park would be the starting point toward all the travel destinations in the Bor area, such as Borsko Jezero, Crni Vrh, Stol, Dubasnica, Lazar's Canyon, Zlot Caves etc. – Wave says.

The fourth Lost & Found will host numerous musicians and artists from the country and the region. The visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy an authentic music program, movie screenings, exhibitions, displays of mural/graffiti culture and a fiery performance, which is an integral part of this event.

Performers confirmed for the music part of the festival are: Kanda, Kodza i Nebojsa, Bjesovi, Sana Garic, Jozzeh Malone, E-clip, Mkdsl, Ilija Djokovic, Tebra and many others.

– The Lost & Found Festival is a unique cultural event. We have acquired an international status, considering that, in the past three years, we've had guests from Slovenia, Russia, Romania, Greece, Poland, Brazil, Jamaica and Egypt – the organizers say.

The visitors will be provided with food and drink stands, an emergency service, a fire protection service, toilets, technical water etc.

A team of seven international artists will be in charge of the artistic part and the painting of murals, which will connect the pool walls into a single artwork.

The cinema part of the festival will consist of documentaries, feature-length films and short films, whereas the galleries will be split into the paintings section and the photographs section.
