Vatrosprem to delivery new fire vehicles to Kolubara, old Kamaz truck - 980,000 km without general overhaul !
Employees from Kolubara have great experience with Kamaz trucks. One of the trucks that was bought long time ago was driven over 980,000 km without general overhaul.
Superstructure for new special vehicles is entrusted to Belgrade-based Vatrosprem, which lived to see significant advancement after ownership transformation that took place in October 2003. Vatrosprem gradually expands scope of production and organizes assembly-line production of new special vehicles. Since last year this company offered 2 new superstructures – cistern for transportation of fuel and dump truck. Fire vehicle that Vatrosprem is to deliver to Kolubara, was designed on Kamaz chassis 43118, with 3-axis drive, V8 turbo diesel engine of 260 HP and 10-gear transmission. The vehicle is 8.65 m long and 3.5 m high. Vatrosprem will deliver two superstructures to strip mine Baroševac – one with 7,000 liters of water and 1000 liters of foam, the other with 7,000 liters of water+1000 liters of foam+1000 liters of fire-extinguishing powder.
