First chance for 1.800 Belgrade citizens
The city of Belgrade has provided 50 million RSD for the program “First chance”, organized by the Ministry of economy, in which it will hire around 1.800 young people, as it was announced yesterday (August, 18th, 2009) by the City department.
A member of the City council, Mr. Miroslav Cuckovic made a visit to “Toma” bakery in Kolarceva St. where the city got hired 40 Belgrade citizens, and on this occasion he stated that 15 more Belgrade based companies received money funds from the same program.
- The city supported the programs of the Ministry of economy with 50 million RSD. “First chance” is a real chance for young unemployed people and I cam convinced that they will know how to use it. It is important to hire as many people in the real private sector, because the public sector is already over employed with excess workers, he stated.
14.400 of young people will be hired through “First chance” program in Serbia, for a period of one year, stands in the announcement.
