Decision about Belgrade Trade Fair to be made prior to August 14

- The consortium comprising Italian Trade Fair "Rimini" and Belgrade-based company "Verano motors" has the time until Friday (August 14, 2009) to decide if they want to increase the price for the Belgrade Trade Fair - people from the Privatization Agency told Beta.

The tender commission for sale of 70% of capital of the Belgrade Trade Fair has decided to start negotiations with that consortium, the only bidder on the tender, only if it increases the price from 1.8m EUR to minimum 40m EUR.

The consortium comprising companies "Rimini" and "Verano motors" has also offered the investment programme worth 35m EUR, which is the minimum value anticipated by the tender. The representatives of the consortium announced earlier that they would think about increasing the initial price, but they have not informed the Agency on their decision yet.
