Reconstruction of park at Terazije balcony in 2010

Works on reconstruction of the park at the Terazije balcony should commence in spring 2010. Although the preliminary solution was selected in 2007, public utility company "Zelenilo- Beograd" signed the contract at the beginning of July 2009 with Architectural studio "RE: A.C.T." on elaboration of preliminary and main project worth 3.2m RSD.

- Deadline for new preliminary solution is three months, and then we are going to elaborate both preliminary and main project. Our preliminary solution from year 2007 should be adapted to satisfy new requests for reconstruction of the park – Dejan Milanović, an architect from "RE: A.C.T.", told "eKapija".

According to his words, the old preliminary solution anticipates contents whose construction has been postponed by the City.

- We should design the solution that is closest to the old preliminary solution, but without certain facilities, such as two towers, glass pavilions with restaurants, coffee shops and galleries. In addition, we gave up construction of cinema hall, multifunctional hall, outlets and garages that were supposed to be built underneath the terrain - said Milanović .
