"Jugoremedija" to start production at end of August - another 2.5m EUR needed for completion of investments

Zrenjanin-based drugs factory "Jugoremedija" will start production again on August 27th, prior to when the reconstruction of units of that pharmaceutical industry will be finished. Since the production was discontinued in November 2008, production halls have been refurbished, while the procurement of new equipment is in progress.

The President of the Executive Council of Vojvodina, Bojan Pajtić, is already familiar with all that, and he has signed the contract with CEO Zdravko Deurić, based on which 25m RSD from the Provincial Development Fund will be granted to "Jugoremedija". Thanks to that, "Jugoremedija" will introduce GNP standards and obtain certificates for production of drugs for all markets.

It has been stated, however, that these funds will not be sufficient for completion of investments - another 2.5m EUR is missing, and that money will be provided from the loan.
