"Energoprojekt" not to be taken over by "Napred"
"Energoprojekt" got the new Administrative Board yesterday (July 21, 2009), and Miodrag Zečević, long-time Marketing Manager of the largest building company in Serbia, was appointed as the President. He claims for "Politika" that the new management was not made to fit the needs of building company "Napred", which was, allegedly, supposed to enter that company through its men and take over control of it.
As the newly appointed President of the Administrative Board estimates, about 20m EUR is needed for takeover of "Energoprojekat". At the moment when the building sector goes through a horrible crisis, there is no one who would take a risk, put assets on ice and take over the company. The second argument is the fact that the state, as the owner of 36% of capital, has not expressed serious intention for sale of its share yet.
- The owner is the one who makes the decision. "Napred" owns 3.2% of stocks of "Energoprojekat" that it bought last spring from Zagreb-based "ZB invest". Pointing finger to the company's management and saying that it helps "Napred" takes over control of "Energoprojekat" is the result of the speculating game of individuals - says Zečević and denies claims that the Administrative Board was entered by the men from "Napred".
The members of the previous Administrative Board who were appointed again are: Vladan Pirivatrić, the CEO of "Energoprojekat", Ignjat Tucović, former President of the Administrative Board, Svetislav Simović, the High-rise Building Director in that company, and Jovan Karolija, a stockholder.
New members of the Board are: Vladimir Sekulić from broker company "MV investment", Nada Bojović from the Central Registry, Slobodan Dinić from "Energoprojekat", and professors Miodrag Nikolić and Rajko Tepavac.
