"Rokšped" bought retail facilities "Štampa" in Montenegro from "Agrokor"
Podgorica-based company "Rokšped" announced yesterday (July 8, 2009) that it had reached the agreement with Croatian "Agrokor" to take over "Štampa", the largest network of retail facilities in Montenegro.
- The Agreement was reached in Dubrovnik, at the meeting between the Director General of "Rokšped", Nuo Stanaj, and the Executive Director of "Agrokor", Hrvoje Balent - it is stated in the announcement that "Rokšped" submitted to the media.
According to the Agreement, "Rokšped" today officially becomes the owner and takes over the control over all 188 retail facilities in Montenegro with total of 590 employees.
"Rokšped" founded business unit "Tobacco S press" last year, which encompasses 80 retail facilities with total of 189 employees, so that it will have 268 newsstands and 778 workers after the agreed takeover.
"Štampa" comprises "Knjaz Tobacco", "Trgo Press", "Štampa Plus" and "Srna Press", while its basic field of work is trade in tobacco products, distribution of press and other commercial goods.

"Rokšped" is the authorized distributor of "Volkswagen", "Audi", "Shell", and it brought Russian "Lukoil" to Montenegro in 2008 by selling its chain of gas stations to that company.
Agrokor bought "Štampa" in May 2008 for 1m EUR, and it bought "Trgo press" from Italian company "Cherere", which was owned by Miljana Todorović from Podgorica, at the beginning of June for 1.5m EUR.
