Serbia among most expensive countries in the region by price of mobile internet per GB

Serbia is the 102th country in the world when it comes to the average price of mobile internet per GB, at EUR 4.25, and one of the more expensive of the former Yugoslav countries, as shown by a survey of the British portal cable.co.uk.

Of the countries of the region, only Croatia is more expensive, at EUR 4.30, whereas Slovenia is the cheapest, at EUR 2.21 per GB.

As said, the cheapest offer in Serbia is EUR 0.34, whereas the most expensive one is EUR 21.10 per GB.

A gigabyte of mobile internet in Bosnia and Herzegovina costs EUR 3.18 on average, whereas, in North Macedonia, it costs EUR 3.21.


In Montenegro, the average price per GB is EUR 3.78.

The survey analyzed 6,313 mobile internet packages in 230 countries and it was determined that the lowest price is in India, EUR 0.23, whereas the highest one was recorded in Zimbabwe, EUR 66.7 per GB.

In Europe, the lowest price is in Finland, EUR 1.03, whereas Switzerland is the most expensive.
