Instant transactions executed in 1.26 seconds in February

In February 2019, there were 397,051 instant payments in Serbia, and the average transaction time was 1.26 seconds.

The value of the transactions in the instant payment system of the National Bank of Serbia (IPS NBS), which is operational 24/7 throughout the year, amounted to RSD 5.3 billion in February, according to the data published on the NBS’ website.

The average daily number of payments was 14,180, whereas the average daily transaction value was RSD 189.1 million.
