EBRD considers approval of loan of 150m EUR for "Corridor 10"
The Government of Serbia adopted the Conclusion yesterday (June 11, 2009) about request for EBRD's loan of 150m EUR for construction of highway on Corridor 10 through Serbia.
- EBRD plans to grant loan of 150m EUR to Serbia for construction of highway section on Corridor 10, from Niš to Dimitrovgrad, 83 km long - it is announced on the website of that creditor (www.ebrd.com).
The loan should be approved at the session of the Board of Directors of EBRD on July 28, 2009.
Total value of construction of Niš - Dimitrovgrad highway on Corridor 10 has been estimated at 786m EUR, while that project is also expected to be financed from the World Bank's loan of 117m EUR and the European Investment Bank's loan of 300m EUR.
The Government of Serbia announced that it has also adopted the Conclusion about acceptance of report from the negotiations with European Investment Bank (EIB) on the loan of 24.5m EUR for public company Elektromreža Srbije (EMS).
The Government also adopted the Conclusion about acceptance of the report from the negotiations with European Investment Bank on the loan of 75m EUR for municipal and regional infrastructure.
The Draft Law on Environment Protection Fund and the Draft Law on Avoidance of Double Taxation between Serbia and Denmark were also adopted at today's meeting of the Government.
The Decision about changes and supplements to the decision about prices of drugs for humane use was also made, which created conditions for appearance of new drugs in the market of Serbia, approved by the Agency for Drugs and Medical Means of Serbia.
