Largest exporters are "U.S. Steel", "Jugoimport SDPR", "Petrohemija"
According to the data provided by the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, Serbia's largest exporters during the first four months of this year are: "U.S. Steel", "Jugoimport SDPR", HIP "Petrohemija", "Tigar gume" and "Loher elektro" from Subotica.
The list of the largest exporters also includes "Hemofarm", "Impol Seval" from Sevojno, "Tarkett" from Bačka Palanka, Copper Mill from Sevojno and "Tetrapak".
The main export product of "U. S. Steel" in the first four months of the year was white sheet metal up to 0.2 mm thick, which was mainly exported to Italy, Portugal, Netherlands and Egypt.
The top export product of "Jugoimport SDPR" was not a weapon, but clothing for men and boys, which was mainly exported to Iraq. The list of company's top export products also included bombs, grenades, torpedoes, mines, missiles and artillery weapons, which were also mainly exported to Iraq.
"Petrohemija" registered largest export to Ukraine, and the next on that list is Italy where the company from Serbia exported polyethylene of various specific thickness.
During the first four months, "Tigar gume" exported most of its products to Great Britain, France and Russia, and the main export product of company "Loher" were parts for machines, and they were mainly exported to Germany.
According to the data provided by the Republic Statistics Institute, the first on the list of Serbia's top ten export products in April was corn, men's clothing was the first on the list in January and March, while parts for machines were the first in February.
Top export products during the first four months of this year were raspberries, rolled products, drugs, socks, TV sets, external tires for passenger automobiles, sheet metal...
