New tender announced for 11 kilometers of Zlatar's main route

Two years after completion of the reconstruction works on Zlatibor-Kokin Brod section of the main route to the seaside, the new tender has been announced for the last section 11 kilometers long.

In that way, the road between Užice and Montenegrin border in Gostun will be fully reconstructed.

There are now four "black dots" on the section that goes from Kokin Brod to Nova Varoš, alongside Zlatarsko Lake, but the whole section is full of dangerous curves.

Dire lane is severely damaged, and traffic flow is also endangered by frequent landslides, so that the reconstruction of this section is more than necessary.

The offers of potential contractors will be opened in mid-July, and it is still uncertain whether the works will commence during the tourist season. Žiča's "Putevi" offered the deadline of seven months on the previous tender, but the job was given to Road Company "Beograd", the contract with which has been cancelled recently and the new tender has been announced.
