(From the CIJ Awards Serbia & SEE 2018 ceremony) In mid-2018, CTP Invest announced plans for the expansion of operations in Serbia and investments which entailed the purchase of property in Belgrade and Novi Sad. According to Vlatko Djuricek, CTP Country Head of Serbia, the acquisition of 6.22 hectares of land for the CTPark project Novi Sad has been completed and the preparation of project documentation for the obtaining of the building permit for the production-storage facility of around 23,000 m2 is in the final stage.
– At the same time, we have completed the acquisition of 2.5 hectares of land for the CTPark Belgrade West project and obtained the building permit. We plan to start building a storage facility of around 14,000 m2 in the spring of 2019. All these projects are going according to plan, so we are extremely satisfied with our results in 2018 – Djuricek says in his interview with eKapija.
He notes that the CTPark Belgrade West project is close to being realized, whereas the CTPark Novi Sad project is currently in the phase of the preparation of an urban project, with the beginning of the works scheduled for the first quarter of 2019.
– CTPark Belgrade West will have 14,100 m2 and be a storage-business facility with modern and comfortable office space, 16 dock shelters for trucks and two drive-ins. CTPark Novi Sad will take up 24,000 m2. This is a production-storage facility will all the side features meant for normal everyday work of up to 800 new employees. All the capacities are in line with our clients' needs – Djuricek explains.
The construction of these facilities will entail the use of the most modern materials and equipment currently available in the market, in line with CTP's aim to achieve the highest possible degree of energy efficiency.
– The total value of all the investments we are currently realizing is EUR 75 million, and new investments are also being planned. We expect our business park to contribute considerably to the cities they are located in and for our clients and their employees to work successfully in these facilities – eKapija's interviewee points out.
Vlatko Djuricek announces that CTP Invest has significant plans for Serbia, and the aim is for the company to build over 200,000 m2 of new premium A-class business facilities.
– We are constantly expanding the team and we plan new employments soon.
At this year's CIJ Awards, held on December 4 (CIJ Awards Serbia & SEE 2018), CTP won two prestigious awards – The Best Warehouse/Logistics Developer in 2018 and The Best Land Transaction.
