Additional time for bidder on tender for "Elektroporcelan"

The Privatization Agency announced today (May 5, 2009) that the only bidder on the tender for Aranđelovac-based "Elektroporcelan" had got additional 15 days to complete the bid.

According to the announcement, the Serbian-Ukrainian consortium comprising Ukrainian company "Color SIM" and Belgrade-based companies "VTV Makler" and "VTV Insulators" was the only bidder on the third tender for sale of 99.16% of capital of the industry of electric porcelain from Aranđelovac.

The decision about commencement of restructuring process in "Elektroporcelan" was made in April 2006, while the first tender was announced in November 2007.

That company from Aranđelovac ended year 2007 with the losses amounting to 69.9m RSD, while its business incomes amounted to 157.6m RSD. The company’s losses at the end of year 2006 amounted to 84.9m RSD.

According to the data from the marketing brochure for privatization, "Elektroporcelan" produces insulators and electro-installation materials, its product portfolio includes 2,000 products, while the available capacities enable production of 3,400 tons of goods on annual basis.
