The General Meeting of Confindustria Serbia, the most important Italian association of production and service companies, will be held on December 3 at Palata Italija. The meeting will be an opportunity to look back at the activities started and realized in 2018 and look at the plans for 2019.
In 2018, the activities of Confindustria Serbia, which currently includes 150 companies, primarily entailed re-investments in numerous company-members, which are now able to continue investing throughout Serbia, using the experience consolidated over several years of operations in the country. Confindustria Serbia has thereby strengthened its cooperation with all institutions which directly influence companies’ daily operations, namely, the competent ministries, but also international financial institutions.
The fact that Italian companies have focused on reinvestments has strengthened the need for putting innovations, digitalization and technological development at the very center of Confindustria Serbia’s activities. As is the case with the national Confindustria in Italy, this association will award the most innovative member-company in Serbia for the first time. The award will be handed out by the minister for innovations and technological development of Serbia, Nenad Popovic.
In addition to Minister Popovic, the attendees will also be addressed by the president of Confindustria Serbia, Erich Cossutta, the Italian Ambassador to Serbia, Carlo Lo Cascio, Serbian Minister of Environment Goran Trivan and the Ambassador and Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia, Sem Fabrizi.
