National milk lab to be accredited soon

(Illustration) The head of the Directorate for National Reference Laboratories, Nenad Dolovac, says that all the products available in stores in Serbia are safe and announces that the National Reference Laboratory for Milk Control might soon be accredited.

Noting that milk is one of the primary agricultural products, Dolovac said at the round table dedicated to the quality of imported ingredients and food safety that he expected the lab to be accredited and start working soon.

He said that, in the upcoming period, he expected new results about food safety, but also about the control of leftover veterinarian medicaments, pesticides, heavy metals and mycotoxins.
